The New Year & Little Miss Sunshine

I just got home from hanging out with the gang. We were at the Red Door, a neighborhood bar here in East Nashville. I normally don’t go out during the week, but work has been hectic and I wanted to unwind a little. It’s that time of year when I have to get the budgets done for the coming fiscal year… late nights staring at spreadsheets and doing creative calculations.

The first month of 2007 has come and gone. Time seems to be slipping away faster than I would like. For the New Year, I have made three resolutions:

  1. Buy a new car
  2. Write at least one article on my blog each month
  3. Hmmm… for the moment, this one is a secret
The first item on this list is done. I got a brand new, fully loaded Toyota Camry SE (sports edition). It is Motor Trend’s Car of the Year and so far, I am very happy with it. My friend Todd, who works at the dealership, helped me get a really good deal. Thanks Todd!

Last Sunday, my roommate Stephanie and I watch “Little Miss Sunshine.” The movie was slightly twisted, but really funny. We had a blast! I highly recommend it, if you can deal with the warped humor. It’s a couple of days later and I am still laughing about the last scene. It was hilarious!

Below is a link to my web album for the New Year's party held at my home on January 12th.
