Happy Thanksgiving!

I want to wish everyone a belated Happy Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving weekend was lots of fun for me. I had a wonderful group of friends over for dinner last Thursday. I want to thank Gerry, Emily, Jessica, Belinda, Hung, Jim, Selena, Adam, Caleb, Muhammad Jamal, Jamila, Clair, Sandra and Sandoval for coming to celebrate. The food and the company was awesome! Gerry did a perfect job with the turkey and everyone brought the ideal food to compliment the big bird. We ended the night watching movies in the living room.

On Friday, I worked and then partied like a madman that evening. I had dinner at Sushiyobi for the very first time and then went bar hopping. It was a blast!! The next couple of days I chilled out – I needed it. On Sunday, Emily and I went on a 15 mile bike ride. The weather was amazing for this time of the years (70 degrees). Sunday evening, I had Emily, Jessica and Linda piled onto my bed. We watched a pretty good documentary on the Roman Empire. Jessica is a big history buff and the rest of us were in the mood for a little education.

This past weekend, I was also able to get my Christmas tree up and decorated. I bought new décor this year; blue and purple balls two years in a row might send the message that I am a little deprived. So now my Christmas balls are red and gold. I think the tree looks really good and decadent! I will post a picture soon.

In the spirit of Thanksgiving, may we be blessed with being able to recognize all the gifts that life has to offer and may we always be thankful!
