Happy New Year Everyone!!!

We started the year with a bang. I had several people over to bring in the year. Present were (pictured above, left to right) Yayoy, Aja, Carey, Heather, Caleb, Sean, Nicole, Feliza and Brandon. Emily, Roan, Muhammad Jamal, Misa and a couple other friends were also at our gathering. It was a blast. We started the night with sharing and a short Zikr ceremony. Afterwards there was eating and drinking, dancing and an interesting game of spin the bottle that went down hill (I'll leave it at that). I feel blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. The celebration went on until sunrise.

We also celebrated Nicole's birthday. Nicole, thanks for being there. You are my soul sister and a wonderful friend. I love you. May your most wonderful dreams come true this year!
